The winner of a $5 million jackpot at a live action adaptation of the ‘The Walking Dead’ comic book series will have their likeness and the likeness of the main characters used in the film.
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the winning winner will receive $25 million and the other $25,000 to be used for a film project.
Hollywood production company Wildcard has been in talks with several major Hollywood studios to create a live movie adaptation of The Hunger Games, which will be directed by Oscar-nominated cinematographer Peter Berg.
Wildcard’s director, James Mangold, recently made the film’s debut in Cannes.
A source told the publication that the studio is currently in negotiations with MGM to make a live version of the film, which has a budget of between $50 million and $70 million.
Wildcards deal with MGM is the largest live-film deal ever made.
The winning film will be produced by Wildcard, and it is expected to begin shooting by the end of the year.
The source said that the winner would receive $5,000 for each win, which is roughly $500,000 in today’s money.
The winner of the $5 Million jackpot, which includes a copy of the final movie and a $250,000 cash prize, will have the chance to submit their film to a contest sponsored by the film festival Wildcard.
The contest will be held on June 29.
