How to get in on the latest NHL trade rumors

Andrew Lonergan and Sam Gagner are the latest stars to be linked to NHL teams.

The latest is the Edmonton Oilers.

Lonerggen, a former member of the Chicago Blackhawks, and Gagners hometown Chicago Blackhawks were among the players who were traded away in the NHL trade deadline on Friday.

Lonergan, who is currently a member of Canada’s national team, is expected to be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.

He was a third-round pick by the Edmonton Oil Kings in the 2013 NHL Draft.

Gagner, a right wing, has a career plus-30 rating in seven NHL seasons with the Dallas Stars and Florida Panthers.

He signed a two-year, $4.5 million contract with Dallas last summer.

Logan Couture, a defenseman, signed a one-year contract with the Anaheim Ducks this summer.

The New York Rangers, Washington Capitals, Winnipeg Jets, St. Louis Blues, Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks, Tampa Bay Lightning, Colorado Avalanche and Philadelphia Flyers are the teams that are believed to be pursuing Lonerghans services.
